Asiamold 2009, the third edition of the sister event to EuroMold, takes place September 16–18 at a new venue—the Poly World Trade Centre in Guangzhou, China. The international fair for mould making and tooling, design, and application development is organized by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt.
Assisting the organizer are DEMAT GmbH and the Hong Kong Mould & Die Council. Support is provided by 15 international and local associations, including some new supporters, the Singapore Precision Engineering & Tools Association and the Shanghai Association of Die & Mould. This level of backing reaffirms Asiamold’s position as the leading international trade fair for mould and die industry heavyweights in Southeast China.
With top regional mould manufacturers and technology suppliers already confirming their participation in this year’s event, the fair can again be expected to provide a business atmosphere for technological innovation and professional exchange.
Noteworthy this year at Asiamold are efforts by Hong Kong and Singapore to give incentives to regional exhibitors. The International Enterprise Singapore has announced that Singapore companies interested in participating in the Singapore Pavilion at Asiamold are eligible for the International Marketing Assistance Programme and may receive up to 50% of funding for the 2009 event. Additionally, members of the Hong Kong Mould & Die Council can take advantage of a Hong Kong government marketing fund.
Another highlight of Asiamold 2009 is the debut of the Micro Manufacturing & Medical Moulds showcase, an innovation designed to reflect the increasing demand for specialty moulds for automation, micro equipment, and medical equipment in China.
The brand-new facilities at the Poly World Trade Centre feature 24-hour security, professional fair management services, a variety of Chinese and Western cuisine, and some 20,000 m² of available exhibition space.
